2008年8月12日至2008年8月17日，在日本东京池袋的“サンシャインシティ文化会館（阳光都市文化馆）”二楼展示D厅内，开催了仅为高达而开催的祭典：“ガンダムEXPO東京2008”，该展览会上从最早第一作“機動戦士ガンダム”，到最新作“機動戦士ガンダムOO”历代高达作品的集成，规模十分庞大而又全面。
展示内容包括等身大模型，1：1模型部件，年代纪元介绍，科技设定解说，MS开发历史，战场建模等等各类相关资料。
